JZM Multi-stage Dry Separator is a new type of dry coal separation technology specially researched and developed by Tangshan Shenzhou Manufacturing Group Joint Coal Dry Process Engineering Technology Research Center on the basis of ZM mineral high-efficiency separator, aiming at the demand of high reject content raw coal reject discharge. This technology was successfully introduced to the market at the beginning of 2022. First, it was applied in the feld of coking coal pre discharge, which ensured the separation accuracy while ensuring a large amount of reject discharge. Compared with the traditional dry separation technology, it has made a qualitative leap in the reject with coal index. The reject with coal index is less than 1%, and even exceeds the separation index of some water washing equipment. It is also applicable to engineering coal, dirty and miscellaneous coal, coal in water washing, reject separation and other felds.

APPLICATION OF JZM MULTI-STAGE DRY SEPARATOR IN THE FIELD OF COKING COAL PRE DISCHARGE
JZM Multi-stage Dry Separator is a dry separation equipment suitable for coking coal pretreatment, which is developed to meet the requirements of the coking coal separation market with high ash and easy sliming. JZM Multi-stage Dry Separator can be implanted into the dense medium separation system as the frst stage reject discharge separation of coking coal, and more than 80% of the reject in the>6mm particle size can be removed in advance, reducing the amount of feed into the wet coal preparation plant, improving the quality of the coal fed into the water washing system, especially reducing the amount of secondary coal slime and high ash fine mud produced in the subsequent water washing process.
MAIN ADVANTAGES
Improve separation accuracy and increase clean coal recovery
The dry separation removes most of the easily slimed reject, reduces the viscosity of the heavy medium suspension, reduces the high ash fne mud entering the fotation system, and improves the heavy medium and fotation effects. The separation quantity effciency of the heavy medium cyclone is ≥ 98%, and the fotation improvement index (comprehensive) is ≥ 50%, which increases the recovery rate of clean coal by 1-2 percentage points.
Reduce investment cost, save energy, reduce consumption and increase effciency
The high ash raw coal is used for dry separation and pre discharge of reject, which can completely or partially replace the heavy medium reject discharge of raw coal, saving more than 10% of the investment. The power consumption per ton of dry separation coal is lower than 2.5kW · h/t, and the combination of dry separation and wet separation simplifes the process fow, saving more than 10% of electricity. Reduce the high ash fne mud entering the water washing system, reduce the water content of fne coal and flter cake, and save more than 20% of water.
Reduce the wear of equipment and pipelines, reduce the consumption of media, water and reagents, and reduce the processing cost per ton of coal by more than 20%.
FIELD APPLICATION OF JZM MULTI-STAGE DRY SEPARATOR
Shuguang Coal Mine of Shanxi Coking Coal Group Fenxi Mining Group will put the JZM multi-stage Dry Separator dry separation pre discharge system into trial use in 2022. Aiming at the characteristics of large content of raw coal reject and easy sliming of reject in this mine, the dry separation pre discharge of raw coal with water washing system<40mm selected from the coal washing plant will be carried out. The equipment uses raw coal to discharge reject on the spot, effectively reducing the reject entering the water washing process, reducing the production of high ash fne mud, and alleviating the aggregation of high ash fne mud in the fotation feed. At the same time of saving the transportation cost of reject and improving the quality of washed raw coal, the water washing separation effect is greatly improved to reduce the cost, improve the quality and increase the effciency.
